This workshop offers clear, family-friendly information about guardianship, when it may be considered, and the responsibilities it involves. Families will also learn about Supported Decision-Making Agreements and other less restrictive options that promote independence and self-determination. Participants will have the opportunity to compare different paths, understand how each option works, and feel more confident making informed decisions that support their child’s future goals and rights.
