DESCRIPTION:Road to Wisconsin Dells: Leadership Institute for Self-Advocates is a week-long\, in-person program for Spanish-speaking self-advocates with developmental disabilities. \nThis session will prepare participants to present at the Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference on October 19–21\, 2026\, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. \nParticipants will practice organizing their ideas\, creating simple visual supports\, and speaking as part of a team. They will build confidence and leadership skills through hands-on activities. \nBy the end of the week\, participants will be ready to represent the Latino community as presenters at this statewide conference. The event brings together people with disabilities\, families\, caregivers\, and professionals to support self-determination and independence. \nThis program will be offered entirely in Spanish. \nApplications will open soon.
