OUR HISTORY 

Alianza Latina Aplicando Soluciones (A.L.A.S.) Inc., began in June 1997 as a support group for non-English speaking mothers of children with special needs.  These mothers were frustrated by the lack of services and  information available in their native language. These mothers reached out to others in the same situtation and created a support and information network.

13 years later A.L.A.S. is a non-profit organization that serves the needs of over 400 families in Wisconsin. 

OUR MISSION

Alianza Latina Aplicando Soluciones promotes the development of children and young adults with special needs via resources, education, training, advocacy and referral for individuals, families, caregivers and the community with the goal of improving their quality of life.

            OUR VISION

Our vision is for children and youth with special needs to achieve their goals by creating a positive impact in their lives.

NUESTRA HISTORIA

Alianza Latina Aplicando Soluciones ,Inc. comenzo en Junio del 1997 como grupo de apoyo para madres de niños con necesidades especiales que no hablaban inglés.  Ellas estaban frustradas por la falta de servicios disponibles para sus hijos y por la falta de información disponible en español.  Encontraron a otras madres en su misma situación y decidieron buscar información en cosas como abogacía, educación especial y cuidado de salud.

13 años más tarde A.L.A.S. es una organización no- lucrativa que sirve a más de 400 familias en Wisconsin. 

NUESTRA MISION

ALAS promueve el desarrollo de niños y jóvenes con necesidades especiales proveyéndoles recursos, educación,  entrenamientos, abogacía, y referidos a cada individuo, familia, personas de cuido y al resto de la comunidad con el fin de mejorar su calidad de vida.

NUESTRA VISION

Nuestra visión es tener un impacto positivo en las vidas de niños y jóvenes con necesidades especiales para que pueda alcanzar sus metas.
